New Features will be enabled on Feb 3, 2026
Clear Viewport tool
The Clear Viewport Tool allows radiologists to intentionally leave one or more viewports blank, giving them greater flexibility when arranging current and prior study series across multiple viewers. This enables cleaner layouts, easier comparison, and more control over hanging protocols. Open Customize Tools → Toolbar. Drag the Clear Viewport tool into the active (blue) toolbar area. Optionally, configure the tool to a mouse action (e.g., mouse wheel). Activate the Clear Viewport tool. Click on one or more viewports you want to clear. Multiple viewports can be cleared in a single action while the tool is enabled. Cleared viewports remain empty until new series are explicitly hung into them.
Sirona Advanced Imaging Suite
We received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for Sirona Advanced Imaging Suite, marking a significant regulatory milestone and the company’s first Class II medical device designation. This clearance expands Sirona’s diagnostic imaging capabilities to include PET/CT support with quantitative SUV analysis, image fusion, maximum intensity projection (MIP) generation, and multi-planar reconstruction (MPR). Please contact Sirona associates to enable this functionality.
Lossy Indicator
Introducing a visual indicator to notify radiologists when an image is lossy compressed. This helps ensure primary interpretations are performed only on full-fidelity images, in line with compliance requirements. Lossy compressed mammographic images are not permitted for primary diagnostic interpretation.
Viewer 1 and Viewer 2 patient information is not in sync sometimes
When load performance is slow and autoload next case feature is enabled, the viewer 1 updates to autoloaded case and patient information. However, viewer 2 still remains on the previous study and patient information. To mitigate this issue, refresh the viewer windows using Cmd+R (Mac) or Ctrl+R (PC) or the refresh icon on top right corner of viewer windows.

Dictation Service Errors could occur randomly while dictating.
Before: While dictating throughout a session an error could get presented saying ‘Dictation Service Error: Unhandled exception’. This was caused by the same connection ID being used in rare cases after the websocket connection to the speech engine was already closed.
After: The connection ID’s are now closing correctly and instances of this error appearing no longer occur.
Dictating “number 2” while in a numbered list would not render in a numbered list format.
Before: When dictating inside of a numbered list if you dictated “period” followed by “number 2” it would appear in the first list item as “#2” instead of generating the second item in a numbered list format.
After: When dictating “number 2” while in a numbered list after dictating “period’ the proper formatting should be rendered into a second list item instead of putting “#2” in the first list item. *the instance of this occurring after a period was seen after the original fix was included in the v7.19.0-3 release*
Auto impressions not generated on first attempt with magic wand icon.
Before: When using the ‘magic wand’ icon to generate an auto-impression it would sometimes not generate an impression the first time the icon was clicked. It would take clicking the icon twice or more to get the auto-impression to generate.
After: Auto-Impressions will now generate on the first click of the ‘magic wand’ icon near the IMPRESSION section.
Sirona Worklist
New Features will be enabled on Feb 3, 2026
Custom Worklist
A worklist is a real-time, prioritized queue of imaging studies that guides radiologists on what to read next and supports timely, safe diagnostic care. To operate efficiently, healthcare organizations require flexible worklist tools that align with their unique workflows while also accommodating individual user preferences.
Sirona’s Custom Worklist enables radiologists, administrators, and other authorized users to create, manage, and personalize worklists to meet these needs. Both public and private worklists are displayed in a collapsible left-side drawer, allowing users to easily manage screen space and access relevant queues.
Users can build custom worklists by applying up to 18 configurable filters, including status, site, modality, and priority. New worklists can also be created by refining existing ones, and multiple worklists can be combined to deliver consolidated or specialized views of imaging studies.
Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) governs permissions, ensuring that only authorized users can create or modify public worklists while maintaining appropriate oversight and consistency. A Sirona Associate will need to enable this functionality.
Critical Workflow
Critical Findings represent urgent results that may have a direct impact on patient outcomes and require timely communication to referring providers and care teams. Radiologists need efficient tools to identify, document, and track these findings to ensure appropriate and prompt patient care.
Sirona’s Critical Results Workflow enables radiologists to easily flag an exam as Critical directly within the Reporter, with optional comments. When an exam is marked as Critical, the Critical indicator is highlighted in red, the exam row in the worklist is visually emphasized, a Critical icon is added to the Alert column, and the exam is automatically moved to the top of the worklist. Any comments entered at the time of flagging are accessible in the Exam Comments, and a critical finding alert is included in the report message.
After communication of the critical finding is completed, users can remove the Critical status from the worklist and document any follow-up details in Exam Comments. If a Critical designation is removed prematurely, the exam can be re-flagged as Critical from the ellipsis menu on the corresponding worklist row.
A complete audit trail of Critical status changes is maintained and can be reviewed in the Exam History.
Search
Sirona Search enables users to quickly find patients, orders, and exams across all stages of the imaging workflow, including completed exams not present in the recently read worklist and orders that are still in a scheduled status.
Accessible from a new component at the top of the left navigation bar, Sirona Search opens a dedicated search panel where users can search for exams by entering a complete Accession Number, or search for patients using a complete MRN, partial patient name, or complete date of birth.
For exact matches on Accession Number or MRN searches, the patient name is displayed at the top of the search results, with the associated Search Patient Jacket shown below. When searching by patient name and multiple results are returned, users can select the appropriate patient from the list, which opens that patient’s Search Patient Jacket.
From the Search Patient Jacket, users can review all associated orders and exams, add Exam Comments, and launch the Viewer or Exam Manager directly.
Exam Comments
Exam Comments provide a shared communication space for care teams to document general, task-oriented notes related to patient care that are not part of the formal medical record. These comments support coordination and follow-up activities, such as when a radiologist identifies missing information needed to complete a report (for example, additional details about the study reason).
Exam Comments are available within the Verify and Move to QC workflows and now also capture comments entered when an exam is marked with a Critical Finding or when the Critical status is cleared. With this feature, Exam Comments are consolidated and accessible from the Patient Jacket, giving users a centralized view of all relevant exam-related communications.
Worklist Tooltip Hover over Displays Numbers
Before: When creating a worklist that includes Critical Results filters, the hover over displays numeric values in place of the written values.
After: When creating a worklist that includes Critical Results filters, the hover over displays the expected written values.

Please contact Sirona associates to enable this functionality.
Linked scrolling on cross-sectional studies
Before: While scrolling on some cross-sectional studies, linked scrolling between image planes behaved inconsistently. Scrolling through axial images sometimes caused other planes (such as coronal) to jump to fixed positions (for example, the first or last image) instead of remaining properly linked.
After: Unlinking the cross sectionals and the localizer series now stabilizes and maintains correct linked scrolling. Axial, coronal, and sagittal views update smoothly without unexpected jumps, providing a more consistent & improved reading experience.
CT Window level presets on PET-CT fusion
Before: Users were not able to apply CT window-level presets on a PET-CT fused image series.
After: Users can now apply CT window-level presets like bone, lung etc. on a PET-CT fused image series.
Viewer 1 and Viewer 2 patient information is not in sync sometimes

Edit Templates/Macros with Nested Content
Previously if an inline bookmark was created or imported within another inline book mark (nested content) then saved, the template/macro builder would then become unavailable for that template or macro. If a user attempted to edit it after the nested content was created it would produce a message stating “editing is disabled”. Now templates and macros that have nested content can be edited after the fact. The “editing is disabled” message no longer appears.
Auto-loaded template would not display when claiming an exam from the Reporter icon.
Before: When an exam would have an auto-loaded template set for it and the exam was loaded for viewing but not claimed, the default template would appear, not the correct mapped template when claimed in the Reporter via the icon.
After: Now when claiming an exam from the icon in the Reporter it will load the correct mapped template not the default template.
Picklist choices would not display if they were a part of a macro that was manually called in.
Before: When a template included a picklist if a macro was also invoked that included a picklist, the picklists choices from the macro would not display, only the template picklist choices would be visible when navigating to the field.
After: Now when a macro is inserted into a report that includes a picklist, the picklist choices will display like any other picklist.
Red recording border would be on, indicating recording was active when it was not.
Before: On rare occasions the red recording border would be displayed around the Report Editor indicating that recording was currently active, however no dictated text would be returned. This was due to the stop recording call being returned too quickly thus leaving the red boarding on .
After: Now the red recording border will turn off correctly once the stop recording call is sent to the editor. This results in the red border only being on when recording on the dictation device is active. Sirona Worklist

DICOM Delete in Exam Manager
Deleting a Study, Series, or individual Images is a routine part of healthcare providers’ quality assurance workflows.
Exam Manager now supports DICOM Delete and is accessible directly from the Worklist via a new right-side drawer. To open Exam Manager, select an exam on the Worklist and choose Exam Manager from the action modal. The panel slides out from the right, allowing users to review and manage exam content without leaving the Worklist.
Exam Manager is organized into two primary sections:
Overview
The Overview section displays patient details and exam information. Authorized users can edit these fields directly within this section.
Images
The Images section presents the Study Description followed by each Series, including image count and series description. Each Series can be expanded to display the individual Images it contains. Users can select the entire Study, one or more Series, or individual Images for deletion. Single Images are selected with a click, Shift-click selects a range of Images, and Command/Control allows multiple selections across a Series or across different Series.
Selected Images are displayed in a thumbnail viewer at the bottom of the panel. The section header reflects the current deletion selection, and a red Delete Image(s) button appears in the lower-right corner, showing a count when multiple items are selected. Selecting this button executes the delete operation.
Detailed User Report
Sirona Administrators need the ability to generate detailed reports that provide key data for each exam processed, filtered by a specific date range, level of scope, and optionally by individual user. Administrators also need control over which data fields are included in the report and the ability to download the results as a CSV file for further analysis or recordkeeping.
The Detailed User Report is available in the Admin Portal under the Stats tab. Selecting the Detailed User Report tab at the top of the screen displays the report criteria selectors. Administrators can define a date range, choose a level of scope, and select the data fields to include. Once configured, the report populates in a table view.
The report can be further refined by filtering for a specific user, adding or removing up to 24 data fields, or resetting all filters. At any time, administrators can download the report as a CSV file.

Copy\Paste Picklist values across template/macros.
Previously when performing a copy/paste in the template/macro builder if the contents contained a picklist the values of that picklist would not be included in the pasted contents. Now when performing a copy/paste from the template/macro builder either into a new template/macro or into the report editor the picklist choices will be included in the pasted content.
Dictating “number 2” while in a numbered list would not render in a numbered list format.
Before: On occasion when dictating inside of a numbered list if you dictated “number 2” it would appear in the first list item as “#2” instead of generating the second item in a numbered list format.
After: When dictating “number 2” while in a numbered list the proper formatting should be rendered into a second list item instead of putting “#2” in the first list item.
Line indicator could disappear when removing text in the Report Editor.
Before: The line indicator (blue arrow) in the Report editor, that is used to show which line you are currently in, could disappear if selecting a numbered list from the bottom to the top and removing the text.
After: The line indicator will still be present when selecting and removing a numbered list from the top to bottom and removing it.
Auto-generated Impressions would not insert correctly into the impression field if it already contained a picklist.
Before: When auto-generating an impression, if there was normal text in the impression field in the template that contained a pick list, then the auto-generated text would not show up in the field. It would instead get inserted below it.
After: Any normal text that exists in the Impression field will get removed and replaced with the auto-generated impression. This includes pick lists.
Split text could occur if the cursor was next to a capital letter.
Before: When dictating with the cursor placed next to a capital letter, such as “ |No acute fracture or dislocation is seen.” Dictating a sentence or two from that location could result in the capitalized word getting split apart across the newly dictated text.
After: The capitalized word does not get split up when the cursor is next to it and new text is dictated in front of the sentence.

Digital tomosynthesis images from prior studies are cached only when images are hanged
Deprioritized caching of 3D digital tomosynthesis images from prior studies to allow prioritization of 2D tomosynthesis or 2D mammography data. This may improve load performance and stability for continuous mammography reads.
Load performance stabilization by having redundancy when data is not available
Improved handling of missing image data links. If data can’t be retrieved, the viewer now shows an error instead of getting stuck loading. Additionally, we have added redundancy so that in the absence of missing links, another fallback link is available to access data facilitating improved load performance.
Viewer 1 and Viewer 2 patient information is not in sync sometimes
When load performance is slow and autoload next case feature is enabled, the viewer 1 updates to autoloaded case and patient information. Measurement abbreviations would get inserted with the incorrect formatting.
Before: When inserting a macro or dictating text that contained measurement abbreviations, they could get inserted with the incorrect formatting (mL instead of ML for example).
After: When inserting measurement abbreviations the first letter will not get automatically formatted in lower case. (AP will not get inserted as aP for example).
Word following a time abbreviation was getting incorrectly capitalized.
Before: When dictating a time abbreviation as part of a sentence, but not the end of the sentence, it would sometimes cause incorrect capitalization to occur (It’s 5 p.m. on the west coast” would get inserted as “It’s 5 p.m. On the west coast” for example).
After: When dictating a time abbreviation as part of a sentence in the same recording, the correct capitalization will be inserted and the following word will not be capitalized.
When dictating past the viewable report the screen could flicker.
Before: When dictating enough text that it reaches the bottom of the viewable report and causes the report to scroll down, it could result in the Reporter flickering.
After: When dictating lengthy text that reaches the end of the viewable report, it will not result in the field or screen to flicker as you cause the report to scroll down.

Exam can be claimed from locked status
Before: From the In Progress worklist, when a user opens the viewer to view the images, the exam is able to be claimed, even when locked.
After: From the In Progress worklist, when a user opens the viewer to view the images while locked, the exam cannot be claimed.
Exams Locked by the user can now be Assigned to other users
Previously, exams that were Locked, could not be assigned to other users until they were released, or became unlocked to ensure another user does not claim exams currently being read. This enhancement allows the user that has the exam locked to assign it to other users. This improves the workflow for user creating addendums or other report related updates, and upon saving the draft, can now assign the exam to another user for signing.
User can Assign Completed Exams
Previously, only exams in pre-compete statuses, or addendum status could be assigned. Now, users can assign Exams from Completed status.
Locked Exams now unlocked after 2 minutes
Previously, locked exams that were not signed/completed, would remain in locked status for 5 minutes to allow the user to resume report creation. The time has now been reduced to 2 minutes.

Text Selection Behavior
A new Text Selection Behavior preference has been added to Sirona Reporter, giving users more control over how text is selected during report editing. Two modes are available:
• Standard (Default)
- Single-click + drag: Selects characters
- Double-click + drag: Selects words
• Inverted
- Single-click + drag: Selects words
- Double-click + drag: Selects characters
This preference allows users to tailor text-selection interactions to their personal workflow and helps reduce frustration when editing reports in different styles.
Correct template would not auto load when adding an exam from the icon in the Reporter
Before: When using the ‘add to queue’ icon in the Reporter it would load the current exam, but it would not load the correct template if one was set to auto load.
After: When using the ‘add to queue’ icon in the Reporter the correct template will load if it is set to auto load for that exam.
Auto-fill Comparison chips would not populate when changing templates.
Before: When loading an exam that has a prior comparison exam also hung in the Viewer a comparison chip with the exam info will automatically load in the comparison field. If the template was replaced from the right pane, the comparison chip would not show up in the new template’s comparison field.
After: When changing templates from the right pane and a comparison exam is hung in the Viewer, the auto-fill comparison chip will load into the new templates comparison field.
Auto-fill Comparison chips could sometimes get removed when signing a report.
Before: When signing a report in some instances the auto-fill comparison chip would get removed.
After: Auto-fill comparison chips are not removed when the report is signed.
Dictating sentences that ended in “1.” could start a numbered list.
Before: If a sentence was dictated that ended in “1.” (“Lung-RADS category 1.” for example) a numbered list could get started.
After: When “1.” is part of a sentence it will not trigger numbered list formatting.
Highlighting and dictating over section headings could sometimes cause dictated text to show up in unexpected places.
Before: In certain scenarios, when highlighting and dictating over a section heading the dictated text could show up in the wrong section\location.
After: Replacing section headings with dictated text will not appear in the incorrect section, but will appear over the new section heading or in the same location as what was removed.
Unable to assign a report that has a drafted addendum associated with it.
Before: If a report has been previously signed and there was an addendum drafted against it, if a user attempted to assign that report to another user it would generate an error message and not move the report to the new user.
After: Any report that has a drafted addendum associated with it can be assigned to another user without producing an error.
Dictating “Next Field” could add an extra line.
Before: If navigating via voice command using the “Next Field” and “Previously Field” voice commands an extra line could be added in some scenarios. “Next Field” “Previous Field” “Next Field” back to back.
After: Using voice commands to navigate through fields will not add an extra line to the report.

Exam Comments in Patient Jacket
Exam Comments are the comments Care teams need to communicate with each other regarding the general tasks needed for patient care that are not part of the patient record. An example of this is when a Radiologist is reviewing an exam, and notices information missing that they need before creating a report, such as more detail around the Study Reason.
Exam Comments already exist in the Verify workflow and the Move to QC workflow. With this enhancement, Exam Comments are now accessible in the Patient Jacket.
Selected Exam Highlighted in Worklist

Customizable Starting Image Preferences
Radiologists can now choose where image series start e.g. first, middle, or last slice/image to better match their reading preferences. The system defaults to cranio-caudal, aligning with standard clinical workflows, and ensures that scrolling direction is intuitive and consistent. Thumbnails are also synchronized with user preferences to avoid any mismatch between previews in thumbnails and actual image navigation. To adjust your preferences, go to User Initials → Settings → Viewer Settings → Starting Image Slice.
Cancellation of previous case loads upon opening new case
When a new case is opened, the system automatically cancels any pending load requests from the previous case. This ensures that resources are appropriately available for the new case, improving performance and preventing unnecessary background processing.
Unable to persist window level adjustments on stacked X-rays after scrolling
Before: When reading X-rays with stacked scrolling enabled, any window level adjustments made on a specific slice would reset to default after scrolling through the stack and returning to that slice.
After: Now, when reading X-rays with stacked scrolling enabled, window level adjustments are persisted after scrolling. Users can make window level adjustments and revisit those slices without losing their adjusted window-leveling.
Viewer 1 and Viewer 2 patient information is not in sync sometimes
When load performance is slow and autoload next case feature is enabled, the viewer 1 updates to autoloaded case and patient information. However, viewer 2 still remains on the previous study and patient information. Unable to link certain studies into a single report.
Before: When attempting to link two studies to the same report the patient first name, last name and MRN needs to match to be able to see the study in the drop down menu in the reporter. In certain circumstances those values would be for the same patient but would show “No Exams available to link” in the Link Exams drop down menu. This was due to the middle name not matching as well.
After: Fields coming in to query the first name, last name and MRN are separated out to prevent any middle name inclusion from preventing the exams from being able to be linked. If the patient's first name, last name and MRN match the exam will now successfully show up as available to be linked.
Dictation could be dropped when stopping and starting recording rapidly in ‘Press to record’ mode.
Before: While in ‘press to record’ dictation mode the microphone record button has to be pressed down to be recording. When stopping and starting recording rapidly in this mode dictation could get dropped and not be recorded.
After: Dictation will not be dropped when starting and stopping recording in rapid succession while in ‘press to record mode’.
No space after dictating a heading and a following sentence or paragraph.
Before: When dictating a heading followed by additional text there would not be a space inserted after the colon (“FINDINGS:The thoracic spine” for example).
After: A space will be inserted to follow the proper formatting after dictating a heading followed by additional text (“FINDINGS: The thoracic spine”).
Auto-loaded templates would appear for addendums.
Before: If there was a template set to auto-load against the original report procedure code, it would automatically load into the report editor in certain circumstances when attempting to create an addendum. *This issue persisted after a fix was previously released.
After: When creating an addendum, any mapped template will not auto-load.
Error displayed when attempting to open certain reports (Error Node at path [4,1])
Before: In some instances when attempting to open a report in the Report Editor it would produce and error stating “ Cannot get the start point in the node at path [4,1] because it has no start text node. This would prevent the report from loading.
After: This error will no longer occur when attempting to load a report in the Report Editor.
When linking studies, the study description data would end up in the COMPARISON section rather than TECHNIQUE.
Before: When linking studies to be read in the same report the data for the ‘study description’ merge field would get pushed to the section below typically the COMPARISON section instead of the TECHNIQUE section.
After: Merge field data \will be populated into the correct section of the template regardless if there are multiple linked studies for the report.
Dictating decimal number measurements would not put a space between the number and the ‘x’.
Before: When dictating numbers as measurements the formatting would not be correct. For instance when dictating “one point one by two point two” it would be transcribed as 1.1x 2.2.
After: The proper formatting will not display when dictating numbers as measurements. The same results will now display as “1.1 x 2.2”.
Dictating measurements could result in starting a numbered list.
Before: When dictating measurements like ‘1.6 cm’, it could sometimes start numbered list formatting after the “one point” resulting in ‘six’ being transcribed after a 1. *This issue persisted after a fix was previously released.
After: When dictating measurements there should not be any numbered list formatting applied.
Sirona Worklist
Expanding the Patient Jacket Priors Table to include “Patient Type” and “Site”
When in the Patient Jacket, in the Priors Table the user can now add the Patient Type and Site columns to the table. The columns can be added or removed via the “Adjust Columns” menu.
Worklist Views Not Visible on Small Screens
Before: When viewing the Worklist Views drawer, when there are multiple Worklist Views and the users screen is small, some Worklist Views at the bottom of the drawer may not be visible. There is no way to scroll down to see the non-visible Worklist Views.
After: The Worklist Views drawer now includes a scroll bar to access all Worklist Views in situations where the users screen is limited.
Worklist Reset Filters link fixed
Before: When searching a worklist, and the user clicked the Reset Filters link, the Search field would remain populated.
After: When searching a worklist, and the user clicks the Reset Filters link, the Search field will be cleared.
Sirona Core
Detailed User Report Query Corrected
Before: When querying for all Completed exams for the Detailed Users Report, the total count could be different than Per Day and By Date Range reports.
After: The Detailed Users Report query was updated to be consistent with the Per Day and By Date Range reports to include Completed exams where addendums occurred.

Hanging protocols support rehanging same series multiple times
When users save system generated sagittal, axial and coronal series along with the original image series as part of the hanging protocol, the hanging protocol will appropriately hang the multiplanar series in their intended layout and viewports.
Cache clearing on logout
Before: Upon logging out of the system, there was a bug which caused some cache data to persist.
After: Logging out now clears all cached data completely, ensuring no residual cache remains.
Sirona Reporter
Right Pane toggle button remembers last location.
Previously when using the toggle button to open/close after having resized it, it would revert to the default size upon toggling it open again. Now if you use the toggle to close the right pane then open it again after resizing it, it will remember the previous size and restore appropriately.
Auto generated impression text would appear in the wrong color.
Before: In some instances when generating an auto impression the text would not get inserted in the correct green color. It would show up as white.
After: When auto generating an impression the text will get inserted in green to match AI generated text in all scenarios.
When replacing a template, dictated text would not appear.
Before: If the default template in a report was replaced while recording was toggled on, when the template appeared and started dictating the transcribed text would not appear at all or in the correct location.
After: Now dictated text will appear after replacing a template with a new one in the correct location where the cursor is located.
Incorrect capitalization when replacing text that included a heading.
Before: Highlighting text then dictating over it would produce incorrect capitalization of the dictated words if the highlighted text contained a heading (H1, H2). For instance if you selected text and the last thing selected was a colon after an H1 heading (FINDINGS: for example) all dictated text would be in all caps. For H2 headings (Bladder: for example) all dictated words would have the first word capitalized.
After: Now if the highlighted text expands over the heading and any other paragraph text, then the dictation will be rendered with the correct capitalization. If the highlighted text contains just a single heading, then the dictated text will render as a heading with the proper formatting.
Linking exams that did have images could crash the Reporter.
Before: When exams were linked to another exam, the system could crash if one of the exams had no images. This occurred during the process of calculating unique exams, before displaying the list to the user.
After: Now when linking exams that do not have images the Reporter will calculate them correctly without crashing.
Sirona Worklist
Display a Mismatch Banner in Patient Jacket
When viewing an exam in the Patient Jacket that is different than the patient in the viewer and reporter, the notice “This patient jacket does not match the active exam in the Viewer and Reporter” will be displayed.
Identify Same Patients Exams from User Queue for Linking in Reporter
When Exams with the same MRN and Patient Name are in a user queue, when the Reporter is opened for one exam, the other exam(s) will be available to link.
Patient Jacket Reports linking to updated Accession Number
Before: In the scenario where the accession number for a study needs to be updated to resolve a mismatch, the Patient Jacket priors table would still look for reports associated with the studies original accession number.
After: In the scenario where the accession number for a study needs to be updated to resolve a mismatch, the Patient Jacket priors table will present the report associated with the studies updated accession number.

— Version: v7.14.0-1
Sirona Reporter
Template and Macro ‘Last Used’ column.
Previously the right pane in the Reporter would display the lists of both templates and macros in alphabetical order and with an associated number listed in the ‘#’ column. With the introduction of the ‘Last Used’ column the default sort order of both the template and macro lists will be by the last used template or macro. The ‘#’ column has been removed to provide additional space and to remove the number value from the list.
Right Pane columns are now sortable.
Previously the columns in the Reporter’s right pane (Template/Macro Name and number) were not sortable. Now columns in the right pane can be sortable by either name or by last used date. This sorting can be applied both ascending and descending. If you’d like to adjust the width of the columns you can do so by clicking and dragging the border of the right pane.
Upgraded default auto impression model
For Clinics that do not have a model specifically fine-tuned for them, we have upgraded the auto-impression model. This should lead to better synthesis of the findings with equivalent latency.
Error message when trying to copy/paste within a merge field.
Before: In some instances when attempting to copy/paste text within a merge field it would produce an error stating “Auto saving failed, contact Sirona if same error persists”.
After: Now if text within a merge field is copy/pasted no error will occur and the text will appear in the merge field as expected.
Dictating sentences with the cursor directly to the left of a period could remove the period.
Before: Sometimes when dictating sentences with periods when the cursor was just to the left of a period it would ignore the periods and not honor the proper sentence structure.
After: Now periods and sentence formatting structure are honored if starting dictation when the cursor is just to the left of a period.
Autocorrect entries for proper nouns were not always honored.
Before: If an autocorrect entry was created for a proper noun (Tuesday replaced by tuesday for instance) it would not honor the entry all of the time.
After: Now if an auto correct entry is created for a proper noun the proper formatting will be honored for how the word should be capitalized. For instance if Tuesday was dictated at the beginning of the sentence it would be capitalized. If it was dictated in the middle of a sentence and there was an autocorrect entry to make it lower case it will appear in lower case.
New lines not added when using ‘enter’ key next to section headings.
Before: When the cursor was next to typed/dictated content on the same line as a section heading and the ‘enter’ key was used it would move the cursor down a line, but not insert a new line.
After: Now a new line will be entered when the ‘enter’ key is pressed in the editor.
Certain Words could be formatted as section headings incorrectly.
Before: If heading keywords (such as findings) were dictated as part of a sentence they would still get formatted as a section heading when they should not be.
After: Now heading keywords will only be formatted as a section heading if the following colon is also dictated.
Sirona Worklist
Admin Portal Opening in Chrome, not the Sirona Web App
Before: When using the Sirona Progressive Web App (PWA), when a user is launching the Admin Portal, it often opens in a Chrome browser, not the PWA.
After: Now when a user is using the Sirona PWA, when launching the Admin Portal, it will open in the Sirona PWA.
Patient Jacket - Ordering Physician Name and Contact Number
Before: When viewing the Patient Jacket, and selecting the Ordering Physician, only the physician's name would be displayed.
After: Now when a user selects the Ordering Physician, both the physician’s name and contact number will be displayed when present.
Sirona Core
Admin Portal - Detailed User Reports
A new tab within Stats will allow a user to generate a detailed report of each exam processed within the selected criteria. The base report includes 14 different data fields, with the option to expand the report to up to 23 fields. Users define the criteria with a date range, level of organizational scope, and optionally select users for the report. The generated report will be displayed in a table that can easily be exported as a CSV format file.

Sirona Viewer
Edit HP panel does not scroll until end and the save button stays out of scroll.
Before: When the user scrolled to the bottom of the edit hanging protocol side panel, the save button stayed out of the scroll and the user interface was truncated.
After: Now, as the user scrolls to the bottom of the edit hanging protocol side pane, the user can view and interact with the save button without being truncated.
Viewer Mitigation:
Hanging Protocols - in the event a Hanging Protocol does not hang a study and priors as expected, it is recommended to manually hang as desired.
Sirona Reporter
Right Pane size persisted throughout the session.
Previously if the right pane’s size in the Reporter was modified that change would not persist upon discarding, drafting, or signing the current report. Now any changes to the size of the right pane will persist throughout the current session. This includes opening and modifying templates/macro’s as well as when a new report is opened.
Cursor placed in the first field even if it is a picklist.
Previously if the first field in a template was a picklist field it would be ignored when a new template was loaded. This applied to both manually and auto-loaded templates. Now if the first field in a template is a picklist field then the cursor will be present and the picklist field will be selected when a new template is loaded.
Allow recording to start with the mouse button pressed.
Before: When the mouse button was pressed down, recording would not start picking up audio until the mouse button was released.
After: Now if recording is activated while the mouse button is pressed down it will start picking up audio regardless of when the mouse button is released.
Lost text when dictating and highlighting text.
Before: If dictating a sentence such as “The alignment of the lumbar spine is normal” while also selecting text inside of the report would only transcribe the text before releasing the mouse button. For instance if the mouse button was let up before saying “lumbar” the subsequent text (spine it normal) would not be displayed.
After: Now if text is selected while also dictating all text should be transcribed regardless of when the mouse button is released.
Audio capitalization of the word ‘may’.
Before: If dictating the word ‘may’ in a sentence it would always be seen as the month May and would be capitalized when transcribed.
After: The word ‘may’ no longer will be capitalized when dictating it as part of a sentence where the month does not apply. “There is a focal area of ground-glass opacity in the right upper lobe which may represent an infectious or inflammatory process.” for instance.
Acronyms following numbered lists would not be capitalized correctly.
Before: If dictating an acronym immediately after invoking a numbered list the proper capitalization would not be transcribed.
After: If dictating an acronym after invoking a numbered list the proper case is applied. “One period normal MRI’ will now be transcribed as 1. Normal MRI. (rather than 1. Normal mri).
New line commands would add an extra line.
Before: If dictating the command ‘new line’ it would insert an additional line moving text down two lines in certain circumstances.
After: When dictating the command ‘new line’ it will put the cursor one line down, not two.
Inconsistent capitalization after dictated headings.
Before: If dictating a heading followed by a colon the first word after the colon would not automatically be capitalized.
After: The first letter of the first word following a colon when dictating headings will be capitalized.
Sirona Worklist
Patient Jacket Current Exam Report Field Suppressed
With this release, when the user has the current exam selected in the Patient Jacket, the report tab will not be available as no report exists. Once the report is submitted and the exam is complete, the report tab will be available.
In the past, when the user selected the current exam in the Patient Jacket exam table, the report tab was available. During dictation, the report being created would populate the report field. This was distracting to users.
Sep 9, 2025 Updates

Sirona Reporter
Microphone not connecting when Reporter loads.
Before: When first opening a report, on occasion the microphone would not pick up audio for recording. The microphone buttons would still work and it would appear to be recording but the audio stream would be null when starting recording.
After: Now when first opening a new report the audio stream will begin as expected and pick up new audio when recording is started by the user.
Sirona Worklist
Patient Jacket Window Management
Before: When the Patient Jacket is undocked from the Worklist and a report is closed, the Patient Jacket would close. Additionally, upon opening the next exam, the locations of the undocked Patient Jacket would change.
After: Now when the Patient Jacket is undocked and a report is closed, the Patient Jacket will remain open in the same location as the next exam is opened.
Resend Report Message
Users need the ability to trigger a resend of the Radiology Report to the RIS/EHR from the Sirona environment to ensure the complete, most recent report is successfully received and available to RIS/EHR users.
Users with permissions to Resend Reports can trigger a resend from the Patient Jacket. When the user selects an exam with a report, and selects the ellipsis from the Exam Header on the right panel, and then selects “Resend Report” from the dropdown menu.
Users with permissions to Resend Reports can also trigger a resend from the Worklist for Exams with reports from the ellipsis on the far right side of the exam row, and selecting “Resend Report”.

Mouse disappears on left click (hold) and drag
Before: When the regular scroll tool is configured to the right mouse button, upon simultaneously holding down both the mouse keys, the cursor would disappear. It was hard to get out of this state.
After: Now, when the regular scroll tool is configured to the right mouse button, upon simultaneously holding down both the mouse keys, the cursor doesn’t disappear and the user can get out of this state.
Sirona Reporter
Template list in Right Pane re-added when viewing finalized reports.
In the previous release when creating an addendum to a signed report the right drawer would be open and would only display the macro list by default. Now the right drawer will again show the full template and macro lists when viewing a report that had been previously signed. This was a direct way to modify templates without having to claim an open exam to get to the list.
A single edit to a report would fail to trigger auto save.
Before: When first opening a report, if the user only made a single edit (a short dictation for example) the auto save functionality would not get triggered.
After: Now when making an edit after opening or reloading a report the auto save action will be triggered and the green check above the report editor will show loading then the time indicator will show the report contents were saved.
Auto-loaded templates would appear for addendums.
Before: If there was a template set to auto-load against the original report procedure code, it would automatically load into the report editor when attempting to create an addendum.

Images series load in the reverse order of the acquisition
Before: Sometimes image series would start at the last slice/frame or in the reverse order of acquisition.
After: Image series start at the first slice/frame or in the order of scan acquisition.
Sidebar Navigation UI is active
Before: Sometimes after logging into the app the viewer or patient jacket or reporter sidebar navigation UI would remain active when the windows had not been opened yet.
After: After logging into the app the sidebar navigation UI appropriately shows active status only when the windows are launched and open.
Sirona Reporter
Dictation Settings Tab
In the past radiologists needed to select and calibrate their dictation devices in the Settings Microphone tab in the Sirona Reporter upon first use. This required the devices to be manually calibrated for the buttons to function. With the introduction of WebHID into the application the need to manually calibrate buttons was no longer necessary. However, users that preferred to use a different audio dictation device (a headset for example) than the one they wanted to control their input (navigation/signing), were unable to do so.
With this new feature the Settings ‘Microphone’ tab has been renamed to the ‘Dictation’ tab. With WebHID there is now the ability to select both an audio device for dictation and either the same device or a separate device for control input (i.e. microphone buttons). This allows users that prefer to use a separate dictation device such as a headset to still be able to navigate and sign reports using their microphone buttons.
Template list in Right Pane removed when adding Addendums.
Previously when creating an addendum to a signed report the right drawer would be open and would display the full template list by default. Now the right drawer will only show the Macro’s tab when creating an addendum to a signed report.
Improved Text Selection and Editing Behavior
Text selection in the report editor now works consistently with other modern text editors, ensuring a smoother and more predictable experience:
- Keyboard selection using Shift + arrow keys now expands or contracts at the character level as expected.
- Mouse selection precisely matches the start and end points when clicking, holding, and dragging.
- Double-click + drag selects whole words under both the starting and ending points.
- Text dictation no longer breaks words when inserting inside them.
- In the Reporter, selection inside picklists no longer auto-expands.
- When auto-generating an impression the cursor will now go to the first field in the impression instead of going to the end of the impression section text.
These changes improve precision, predictability, and alignment with common user expectations.
Linked Exams menu would not be visible if Prior Reports were available to view from the drop down menu.
Before: If there were prior reports associated with the current exam that was open in the Reporter and the link exams menu was opened it would appear behind the Prior Reports drop down menu and would not be visible.
After: Now opening the link exams menu will show on top of the Prior Reports drop down menu and the exams are visible and able to be selected.
Reporter crash when adding a second addendum
Before: In some instances when adding a second addendum to a finalized report the Reporter application would crash.
After: Any number of addendums can be added to finalized reports without crashing the application.
Sirona Worklist
Download Report
Radiology departments and imaging centers need the ability to download radiology reports in a PDF file for several important clinical, operational, legal, and communication-related reasons. This feature will ensure our clients can access, account for, and distribute reports to meet their business requirements without needing to rely on the Sirona Customer Success team.
From the worklist and patient jacket a user will be able to select “Download Report”, which will trigger a download of the report in a PDF file to the user's local machine.
Download icon in the Patient Jacket
Before: When transitioning from a prior without images to a prior with images in the Patient Jacket, the download icon in the patient jacket may not be enabled.
After: Now when transitioning from a prior without images to a prior with images in the Patient Jacket, the download icon will consistently display when downloads are available.
Sirona Core
Admin Portal - New Stats Report
A new tab within Stats will allow the user to select a date and scope for the report, and will present the user with a table with a column for each hour of the date horizontally, and vertically will display the users that have submitted reports. There will be totals for users, for each hour, and a grand total.

Sirona Viewer
Updated Address
Sirona Medical’s updated address is now reflected in the app to 171 2nd St Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94105.
Change text in Anatomic Navigator Accept/Reject modal
The Accept/Reject modal for MR spine autolabels will now display different text from before, including situations when the autolabels are more likely to be inaccurate and also what model generates the autolabels. This will help inform the users of situations when autolabels are more likely to be inaccurate and need a closer review.
DICOM tags label blur
Before: Typing labels in the DICOM tags modal caused characters to blur, making it hard to edit.
After: Labels now render clearly in real-time, allowing users to type and review without issue.
MRI Breast Image Issue
Before: Some MRI Breast images were positioned in such a way that they were not being displayed by the camera.
After: Addressed camera positioning allowing us to show the above mentioned MRI Breast images.
Viewer stalling after adding multiple priors from the Patient Jacket
Before: Viewer stalls momentarily when adding priors from the patient jacket.
After: Added performance enhancements to fix these momentary stalls.
Sirona Reporter
‘Signed by’ name and date in the Reporter
Previously, if a radiologist wanted to see when a prior report was signed and who signed it they would have to navigate to the associated column in the Worklist.
This new enhancement puts the ‘Signed by’ information directly above the finalized report in the Reporter. There will now be a statement that says “Signed by LastName, FirstName on dd/mm/yyyy at 01:33 pm” in the upper right hand corner above the signed report.
Currently loaded template name displayed
Previously, when a template would auto-load when a new exam was launched into the Reporter there was no way to visibly know which template it was.
Now the template name will be displayed above the radiology report so that it can easily be located and edited if needed. ‘Template: CT Abd Angio w’ for example.
Sirona Worklist
Worklist and Patient Jacket Fixes
Previously, the column to display the name of the user an exam was assigned to was titled Assigned Radiologist even when the assigned user was not a radiologist. Additionally, column titles were labeled Study Date, or Study Description, which was inconsistent with Sirona’s definitions, and some hover over tool tips were empty.
These fixes change the “Assigned Radiologist” column header to “Assigned To”, “Study” is removed where appropriate, and add content to hover over tool tips.
Select Rows removed from the Adjust Columns menu
Previously, a user needed to add the Select Rows column to their worklists from the Adjust Columns menu.
This new enhancement makes the Select Rows column a permanent column on appropriate worklists, and removes the option from the Adjust Columns menu.
Ordering Physician Contact information visible in the Patient Jacket
Previously, if a radiologist selected the Ordering Physician tab in the Patient Jacket, only the order physician's name appeared when available.
This new enhancement includes the ordering physicians contact information in the Patient Jacket Ordering Physicians tab when available.
Patient Jacket shows priors without images
Previously, if a radiologist wanted to see prior reports in Sirona that did not include images, they were not visible in the Priors table.
This new enhancement shows priors without images in the Priors table, with a Status of “No Images”. Selecting the prior in the Priors table will display the report in the Report tab.
‘Signed by’ name and date in the Patient Jacket
Previously, if a radiologist wanted to see when a prior report was signed and who signed it they would have to navigate to the associated column in the Worklist.
This new enhancement puts the ‘Signed by’ information directly above the finalized report in the Patient Jacket Report tab. There will now be a statement that says “Signed by LastName, FirstName on dd/mm/yyyy at 01:33 pm” in the upper right hand corner above the signed report.
Sirona Core
Ability to add and remove columns on the QC Worklist via the Adjust Columns menu
Previously, a user did not have the option to add or remove columns on the QC Worklist via the Adjust Columns menu.
This fix makes the Adjust Columns menu available on the QC Worklist and enables users to add and remove optional columns on the QC Worklist.
July 16th, 2025 Updates

Sirona Viewer
Add XR DICOM Modality to Stacked Scrolling
Added the XR DICOM modality to stacked scrolling settings (located in Viewer settings) to enable stacking of image series with imaging modality as XRs. To enable this, click User Initials > Settings > Viewer Settings > Stacked scrolling (Toggle ON) > Check XR
Removed Patient Search Filter in Prior’s Modal
Users only want to view, access and load prior studies for the current patient they are reviewing. Therefore, we have removed the patient search filter in the prior’s modal that allowed users to view prior studies from other patients.
Logout on one window should logout all other windows
Before: Logging out from any window on the application would not logout the user consistently from all windows in the app
After: Logging out from any window on the app now logs out the user from all windows in the app
Fix for optimal default window level for XRs
Before: Some x-rays in the system were being rendered without the default optimal window-level.
After: The suboptimal default window-level for some x-rays is now fixed and is being rendered with appropriate default values.
Sirona Reporter
Administration of Clinic Templates and Macros
Previously, template and macro management in the Reporter was limited to internal Sirona administrators, restricting users from direct access to modify, create, and manage clinic level templates and macros.
This new functionality will allow users with the appropriate role-based access to create, manage, and modify clinic-level templates and macros directly in the Template/Macro Builder. This functionality will:
- Improve standardization of reporting formats across clinics.
- Reduce reporting time for radiologists by providing pre-approved templates.
- Minimize variability in reports, improving clarity and compliance.
- Enable centralized governance for templates and macros for admins.
Sirona Worklist
All Worklist Tabs Accessible When Patient Jacket Is Docked
Prior to this enhancement, when the Patient Jacket was opened from a worklist and docked to the worklist, users could only see the worklist from which they opened the exam. This required a user to close or undock the Patient Jacket to access other worklists. Now, with the Patient Jacket docked, the user has access to all worklists.
Patient Jacket Shows Prior Exams without Images
The Patient Jacket Prior Exams table now includes exam reports even when there are no images with the report. Prior exams with images will still display with the “Actions” and “Status” cells as before. Prior exams without images will have no Actions and will have a Status of “No Images”. When selecting any prior, the panels will still populate as expected.
Worklist Refresh From Worklist View Tab Inconsistently Returns To The Worklist View Tab
Before: Prior to this fix, when a user is on the Worklist View tab and hits refresh, the user would be brought to a new worklist.
After: After the fix, when a user is on the Worklist View tab and refreshes, the user remains on the Worklist View tab.
Autoload Not Available for Worklist View Tab
Before: Prior to this fix, when on the Worklist View tab, the Autoload toggle was not accessible.
After: After the fix, when on the Worklist View tab, the Autoload toggle is accessible.
Patient Jacket Sometimes Opens Blank Or Faded
Before: Prior to the fix when creating an Addendum, if you discard the Addendum, the Patient Jacket closes as expected. When opening the next exam, the Patient Jacket would be blank, or faded, requiring refreshing the window.
After: After the fix, the Patient Jacket presents the expected patient information without the need to refresh.

Before: Some x-rays in the system were being rendered without the default optimal window-level.
After: The suboptimal default window-level for some x-rays is now fixed and is being rendered with appropriate default values.
Fix scroll performance on CTA/large series
Before: Scrolling on CTA or large series felt laggy.
After: Scrolling on CTA or large series is now fixed and should work as the user expects.
Sirona Reporter
Auto-Generated impression is inserted into the report with an extra prepended line
Before: When inserting an auto-generated impression into a report it would be prepended with an extra line.
After: No additional line will prepend the auto-generated impression when it gets inserted.
Sirona Worklist
Removed unnecessary locations from the Sites column
The Sites column will now only show acquisition facilities.
Introduced the Signed By column to the Worklist
The Signed By column has been introduced to provide the name of the Radiologist who signed the Radiology Report. This column is searchable by last name.
Corrected the Assigned Radiologist column to display the user the exam is Assigned to
The Assigned Radiologist column now will display the name of the user assigned to the exam. When no user is assigned, the field will display N/A.
Turn off Autoload when switching worklist tabs
Before: When working on a worklist with Autoload enabled, switching to another worklist would automatically default to Autoload enabled, resulting in unintentionally autoloading exams.

Autoloading relevant priors based on modality match
Before: Autoload relevant priors feature would autoload the 3 most recent and identified relevant priors
After: Autoload relevant priors feature will autoload the 3 most recent & relevant prior which have a common modality match
Sirona Reporter
Record light indicator for supported microphones
When actively dictating in the Reporter it is useful to have a visual indicator that the microphone is on and listening for audio. While there is a visual aspect directly in the reporter of a red outline around the report editor, there could be confusion when looking at the microphone itself as the red light would always be on.
Now the red light on microphones such as the Philips SpeechMike 3700 will only light up if the microphone is actively recording audio. This will apply to both press to record and toggle on/off settings.
Sign off reports with normal content
Previously when a user attempted to sign a report for which a template had been auto-loaded but the report was never drafted and had no modifications, the user would receive an error stating that the Impression was missing and would not sign off the report.
Now with this new functionality when a user attempts to sign off a report and the auto-loaded template has normal content in the Impression and other required fields the report will sign off successfully and display the distribution countdown as occurs when content was manually added to these sections.
Clicking and dragging near the edges of the report would select the entire content of the report
Before: When highlighting text and dragging the mouse to select more text if you reached the edges of the gutter of the reporter it would select all report text. This could cause users to inadvertently overwrite or remove report content.
After: When selecting text and dragging near the gutter it will not select additional text that is not on the current line.
Auto-fill Comparison chips would append to normal content in the Comparison section
Before: When utilizing the Auto-fill Comparison feature some users would see the comparison chips for the prior exams appended to content in the Comparison section that was a part of the template.
After: If there is content in the Comparison section from the template present, it will now be removed if there are comparison chips inserted via the Auto-fill Comparison feature.
Ellipses remains after dictation has stopped
Before: In some instances when dictating, the ellipses ... which appears when audio is first returned to the speech engine and while the editor waits for the transcription to return, would remain in the editor even after the recognized text has been displayed.
After: The ellipses … should be removed once the recognized text has been transcribed into the report.
Dictated text would render out of order after rapid activation of the recording device
Before: In some instances when dictating if the microphone (or other recording device) was activated again in rapid succession it could cause the transcribed text to appear out of order.
After: Dictation should appear in the correct order even when rapidly turning on\off recording mode on the microphone (or other recording device).
Sirona Worklist
Increased the viewable field size for MRN on Patient Jacket and Reporter
Before: The full patient MRN was not displayed due to a reduced field size.
After: The field size was increased to display full MRN and hover over click to copy.
Worklist dimmed upon opening the patient jacket or reporter

After: When selecting a picklist value that is in all caps it will insert without affecting any other text.
Sirona Worklist
Patient Jacket v2.0
A complete update to the UI/UX of the Patient Jacket. This includes the ability to resize and/or collapse each section of the worklist so that radiologists can focus on the parts and information that are most meaningful to them.
They will see the AI generated Priors Summary which generates a summary of the patients previous exams so that radiologists don’t have to scroll through and look at individual exams to understand the patients history
Patient Jacket v2.0 also improves access to prior reports and prior exams, as well as enhancing the interactions and usability of the overall platform.
These improvements are intended to allow radiologists to quickly review patient history and previous reports, leading to faster decision making and turnaround times. By offering clearer access to past patient information and a concise summary of the patient’s prior reports, the risk of overlooking critical information is minimized, improving user confidence.
Assign Exam
Assign Exam allows exams to be assigned and reassigned to users allowing management of exam distribution to meet the needs of workload balancing, shift changes, expertise-based delegation, and other custom exam assignments.
A radiologist or administrator can select one-to-many exams from the worklist to assign. The system will present a list of available users that the exam(s) can be assigned to. The assignee will be notified, and the action logged in the system.
This functionality also allows users to select multiple exams that they can claim into or unclaim from their queue.

Claiming and Locking of Addendums
In radiology practices, final reports will be visible, in the Recently Read and In Progress tabs, but only the original author of the report was able to create addendums. However, situations arise where users may need to add addendums to exams that they did not previously work on. Some practices have multi-step workflows where multiple people need to work on the same exam sequentially. This feature addresses the need for users to claim final exams and create addendums that were previously worked on by others, ensuring workflow continuity and efficiency.
This also adds visibility to the In Progress tab of currently locked reports where addendums are being created.

AUGUST 2024 |
Date: 08/27/2024
— Version: v6.78.0-1
Bug fixes:
- Fixed an issue where copy/pasting an entire report could cause some of the content to not paste.
- Fixed an issue where all procedures wouldn’t show up when scrolling through the ‘Selected procedure description(s)’ button list to be added when creating/editing a template.
- Fixed an issue where text would not bold using the hotkey or toolbar if typed into an empty field.

- Fixed an issue where content from a previous case could be restored if the current case produced an error due to an expired authentication token.
- Fixed an issue where copy/pasting heading synonyms along with other text will upgrade the heading synonyms to a proper header rather than just text.
New Features:
- Numbered List Enhancements. Starting a numbered list, or navigating to the next list item can now be done with new Voice Commands ‘One period’ or ‘number 1’. ‘Two period’ or ‘number two’ continues to the next list item and so on for other numbers through the list.
- Added show\hide password option to login screens.
- Enhancement to the keyboard shortcut input fields. Previously the keyboard shortcut fields appeared to be fixed at first glance, until the user hovered over it. The UI enhancements are user friendly and demonstrate the keyboard shortcuts are editable.
- Performance enhancements: Each time the viewer downloads a dicom series, we create a connection to our backend servers specifically for that series to ensure it is downloaded as fast as possible. We keep track of each connection. In the case of very long user sessions, we were tracking too many connections and it was impacting user experience. This change creates a balance between performance and stability by limiting the number of connections we track, and closing out the ones we no longer need.
Mitigation:
- If annotations don’t get erased by backspace, please select an eraser tool and click on the annotation to erase it.
- If annotations don’t persist upon creation, please logout and log back and try again.
- If annotations are reverting back after making an edit to an existing annotation, it is recommended to create new annotations rather than editing existing annotations. Please review the edits made to the annotations are being saved appropriately as needed.

- UI and Styling Improvements to Template\Macro browser dialog.
- ‘Discard Addendum’ button is now simply ‘Discard’.
- If text in the Reporter remains in an unstable state, it is recommended to refresh the Reporter.
- If hanging protocols are not hanging series as expected, it is recommended to manually hang the series as desired.
- If the worklist is not loading it is recommended to refresh the browser or use search filters.
- When adding multiple merge fields, it is recommended to place the cursor outside of existing merge field brackets before inserting a new merge field.
- When adding multiple consecutive macros, it is recommended to add a space outside of the existing macro closed bracket before inserting a new macro.
- If dictation is lost when using the start numbering command it is recommended to wait for the command to execute before continuing dictation.
- If the Reporter crashes when pasting large blocks of text into a report, it is recommended to break it into smaller sections and pasting smaller blocks.
- If auto-save error is appearing when pasting headers into fields, it is recommended to not paste headers into fields and instead type header names into fields.
- If seeing issues of line order when making edits to a sub list item, it is recommended to remove items entirely and retype desired content.
